After a nine-year career in law enforcement that included positions with
the U.S. Coast Guard and the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, Justin Krashefski chose to redirect his career to one of lower stress.
Another aspect of his law enforcement service that he enjoyed was the
physical training. Both the USCG and FLPD encourage their members to
maintain a high degree of physical fitness. During his basic training in
the Coast Guard
in 2001, Krashefski was expected to do 29 push-ups in 60 seconds, 38
sit-ups in 60 seconds, run 1.5 miles in under 13 minutes, and tread
water for 5 minutes.
He currently teaches his clients fitness strategies to help them lose weight effectively. After he finishes his degree, he plans to open a fitness and lifestyle
studio where he can continue to implement his rigorous training
strategies to help his clients maximize their exercise results and
practice proper diet and nutrition.
